Nursing students frequently experience stress due to academic load, clinical responsibilities, interpersonal challenges, and adaptation to professional roles. In rural educational settings, additional challenges such as limited resources, restricted access to mental health support, and socio-cultural pressures may intensify stress. Knowledge regarding stress coping stratagems and the ability to apply them effectively is essential for psychological resilience and academic success.
Structured teaching programmes have been found to increase awareness, improve cognitive understanding, and promote positive behaviour change. However, limited research exists on the utility of such educational interventions in rural nursing institutions of Gujarat. This study addresses that gap by examining how structured teaching impacts nursing students’ knowledge and coping stratagems.
