The analysis of the study results demonstrated the significance of determining the serum concentration of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in patients with oropharyngeal cancer. In combination with immunological indicators, this marker helps diagnose severe forms of the disease process and is also important in predicting the risk of recurrence. A comprehensive approach to immunodiagnostics, virological diagnostics, treatment, and prognosis of disease progression was developed depending on immune status indicators, virological characteristics of Epstein–Barr virus, and the level of vascular endothelial growth factor.Downloads
