REVERSAL OF RECURRENT NASOPHARYNGITIS IN A PEDIATRIC CASE RESISTANT TO CONVENTIONAL THERAPY – SUCCESSFULLY MANAGED AT DR BATRA’S® HOMEOPATHY CLINIC

Abstract

Recurrent nasopharyngitis and allergic rhinitis are among the most common pediatric conditions worldwide, often leading to repeated antibiotic usage, reduced immunity, and significant parental anxiety. Conventional management provides symptomatic relief but frequently fails to prevent recurrence. Homeopathy, based on individualization and holistic healing, offers a promising alternative by addressing the root cause and improving immune resilience. This case study presents a young boy suffering from recurrent nasal blockage, persistent sneezing, coryza, and frequent febrile episodes occurring every 15–20 days over 9–10 months, requiring repeated antibiotic interventions. Associated complaints included recent onset skin itching, disturbed sleep, and reduced activity during episodes. A detailed homeopathic evaluation considering mental generals, physical constitution, miasmatic background, and totality of symptoms was undertaken.
