Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Homeopathic Research (IJHR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated primarily to research in Homeopathy (Homoeopathy) and related areas of AYUSH, integrative healthcare, and allied health sciences. IJHR welcomes scientifically sound, ethical, clinically relevant, and academically valuable contributions.

1. Scope

IJHR primarily welcomes research and scholarly contributions in:

• Homeopathic theory and philosophy
• Clinical practice and therapeutics
• Materia Medica and Repertory
• Homeopathic pharmacology and drug proving
• Clinical and experimental research
• Research methodology and public health
• Homeopathic education
• Integrative and interdisciplinary healthcare

Relevant research involving AYUSH disciplines, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and allied healthcare fields, may also be considered where relevant to Homeopathy, integrative healthcare, or broader healthcare research.

2. Types of Manuscripts

IJHR considers:

• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
• Case Reports
• Case Series
• Clinical Communications
• Short Communications
• Brief Reports
• Editorials and Commentaries
• Other scholarly contributions considered appropriate by the Editorial Board

3. Originality and Submission

Manuscripts must be original and must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. Authors must ensure that the manuscript is free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of research misconduct.

Submission implies that all authors have approved the manuscript and its submission to IJHR.

4. Authorship

All listed authors should have made a meaningful contribution to the work and approved the final manuscript. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and for ensuring the accuracy of the author list and submission documents.

5. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be written clearly and concisely in English. Where applicable, manuscripts should generally include:

Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author's details, email address, and ORCID iD where available.

Main Manuscript: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods/Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References, as appropriate to the article type.

The title should be concise and informative. Original research articles should include a clear, self-contained abstract and 3–6 keywords.

6. Ethical Requirements

Research involving human participants, patient information, biological material, or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and legal requirements. Where applicable, details of Ethics Committee/Institutional Review Board approval should be provided.

For case reports involving identifiable patient information, appropriate informed consent for publication must be obtained.

7. Tables, Figures and Permissions

Tables and figures should be consecutively numbered, appropriately titled/captioned, and cited in the text. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted photographs, figures, tables, documents, datasets, or other third-party material.

8. References

References must be accurate, complete, and consistently formatted. Authors should verify author names, article titles, journal details, publication year, volume, issue, pages, and DOI where available.

9. Declarations

Authors should disclose:

• Conflict of Interest: Any financial, professional, or personal relationship that may influence the work.
• Funding: All sources of financial or institutional support.
• Data Availability: A statement regarding availability of supporting data, where applicable.

Where none applies, authors may state:

Conflict of Interest: The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest.

Funding: No specific funding was received for this study.

10. Editorial Assessment and Peer Review

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment for suitability, quality, scope, and ethical compliance. An editor may desk reject a manuscript that does not meet minimum standards.

Manuscripts considered suitable may be sent for peer review. Editorial decisions are based on factors including originality, scientific quality, methodology, relevance, ethical standards, clarity, and contribution to the field.

11. Open Access and APC

IJHR follows an open-access publishing model.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after acceptance:

• India: INR 6,500 per article
• Outside India: USD 80 per article

Payment of the APC does not influence peer review or the editorial decision.

12. DOI

A unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned to each article published by IJHR.

13. Copyright and Author Responsibility

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant IJHR the necessary rights to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article in accordance with the journal's applicable licensing policy.

Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct of their work.

14. Submission

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts through the online submission system. If online submission is not possible, manuscripts may alternatively be submitted to:
