Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Case Report – Submission Criteria

The International Journal of Homeopathic Case Reports (IJHCR) welcomes original, well-documented, and clinically relevant Homeopathic Case Reports.

A suitable case report should include:

1. Patient Information & Case History

   • Age, gender, chief complaints and duration

   • Relevant present, past, family and personal history

   • Relevant mental and general symptoms

2. Clinical Examination & Diagnosis

   • Relevant clinical examination findings

   • Investigations and diagnostic findings

   • Clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis, where applicable

3. Homeopathic Assessment & Treatment

   • Case analysis and totality of symptoms

   • Rationale for remedy selection and repertorisation, where applicable

   • Remedy, potency, dosage, repetition and duration of treatment

4. Follow-up & Outcome

   • Adequately documented follow-up

   • Clinical changes and objective findings, where applicable

   • Final outcome of the case

5. Discussion & Conclusion

   • Clinical relevance and discussion of the case

   • Relevant references

   • Clear conclusion

6. Patient Consent

   • Appropriate informed consent for publication should be obtained wherever applicable, particularly when photographs or potentially identifiable patient information are included.

   • Patient confidentiality must be maintained.

Additional Requirements

• The manuscript must be original and not under consideration by another journal.

• Adequate clinical documentation and a clear description of homeopathic management are required.

• Relevant investigations, photographs, or supporting documents may be included where appropriate.

• Manuscripts should follow the IJHCR Author Guidelines and Submission Checklist.

Editorial Assessment

All manuscripts undergo initial editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review. Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee acceptance; the final decision is based on the quality, completeness, originality, clinical relevance, and suitability of the manuscript for IJHCR.
