Abstract

Hyperpigmentation with chronic acne and post-acne scarring significantly affects self-esteem, social participation, and quality of life. This case reports a chronic, occupational sun-exposed facial hyperpigmentation with oily skin, pustular acne, and axillary discoloration (erythrasma-like presentation) in a young adult male, previously dissatisfied with multiple approaches. Individualized classical homoeopathic management was planned using totality-based prescription, repertorization, constitutional approach, and miasmatic consideration with systematic follow-ups. Marked improvement was observed in facial pigmentation, oiliness, and axillary lesions with improved confidence and social functioning.
