Abstract

Osteoporosis is a common metabolic bone disease marked by reduced bone mass and microarchitectural deterioration, leading to fragility fractures and disability. It significantly impacts morbidity and healthcare costs worldwide. Conventional management includes medications, calcium/vitamin D supplementation, and lifestyle changes. Homoeopathy offers an individualized, cost-effective approach that may improve bone health, aid fracture healing, and reduce complications. This article reviews the causes, modern treatments, and homoeopathic management of osteoporosis.
