Abstract

Warts are the common benign type of skin lesions in our daily practice. Filiform warts are commonly seen on the face, neck, and skinfolds and present as papillomatous lesions on a narrow base. It looks different than most of the other warts. They are generally caused by human papilloma virus (HPV). A case of filiform wart at left side of neck in a 40 year old female with rapid growth and easily bleeding from slightest touch. In this case Nitric acid was prescribed on the constitutional basis and proved to be beneficial. Considering the extent of the filiform wart in this patient, the Homoeopathic approach relieved the case in a very short period of time.
