AN EVALUATION OF TREATMENT MODALITY OF MANDALIDAMSA WITH AJITAGADA IN EXPERIMENTAL LEVEL

Abstract

It is proposed to study the Renal-protective effect of Ajitagada yoga in Spague-dawley rats. All the animals were sacrified and kidney was used for the histopathological studies. Serum creatinine level is used as an index of nephrotoxicity. The present study was undertaken to assess the nephroprotective effect of Ajitagada against gentamicin induced nephrotoxicity in Sprague-dawley rats. Eight adult female Sprague-dawley rats weighing 160-300g, the renal protective effect of Ajitagada’ was conducted at Veterinary college & sciences, Mannuthi, Thrissur.
